Here is the 3rd Brother Captain Stern which I have now painted and once again the customer wanted it to be similar to the 1st (both the paint-job and the base). At first I wasn't all that happy with this but I realised that there is value in painting a miniature numerous times using a similar scheme - it's a great way of guaging how much you've improved over time. Taking this into consideration it was a relief that this Stern is the best so far (the new camera doesn't hurt either - I didn't realise how bad the other was until I compared photos).
