The Master of Carnage has always been one of my favourite Rackham sculpts -
it has been sculpted in a very static pose but it's clear that the creature
is right on the verge of exploding into action. My guess is that from
a sculpting perspective it's a pretty difficult thing to accomplish
but it's been done so well with this miniature. My only complaint is
directed at the blades - they have a circular section cut from them
near the top leaving only very thin bit of metal supporting the bulk
of the blade. I had to replace both of them because they'd been bent
in the packaging and upon straightening had torn. The replacement blades
were also in a weakened state at the same point so this time I filled
the holes with milliput. That's always been one of the down-sides to
Rackham miniatures - structural integrity is often sacrificed for style.
