Is this the most important site in the "miniature" world? More than likely.
The Stuff of Legends is an invaluable resource for miniature collecters and it's a real credit to those who maintain it, they truly are the stuff of legends... ;^)

Kev White's new interest, Hasslefree Miniatures has just opened for business and I can tell you that they're well worth a look.

Welcome to the ever-evolving 'Arjay's Land of the Diminutive'. Basically, this is a place where I showcase miniatures (both 25 and 54mm) which I have painted. I try my hardest to be an innovative painter, incorporating ideas from other miniature painters as well as 2D artists into my own work. I therefore hope that you'll find my site both interesting and informative and that you'll ofcourse visit regularly.

what's new?
Abaddon the Despoiler 221/11/07 - The second Abaddon I've painted this year, not something I'd recommend. Similar to the first but with a few little tweaks.
12/07/07 - This paint-job marks my first real effort in weathering a miniature, most things I've painted up until now have been artificially clean so this was definitely a bit of a departure from the norm. It also ended up being my longest painting project to date but I think it was worth the time and effort.
22/11/07 - I've been collecting older Citadel miniatures on and off for years now and have quite a pile developing. The thought that I should at least paint one of them and the need to practice a few techniques culminated in this guy. He's now up for sale in the 'for sale' section.
21/11/07 - This miniature was painted back in July but because of my aversion to updating my website its being added a little late... Worth noting is that it marks my first serious shot at using metallics.
Callidus Assassin14/05/07 - I've been wanting to try out the OSL technique for ages now but I kept putting it off for various reasons... I guess mostly because the technique looks a little tricky and I didn't feel that I had time to mess around learning something new - pretty dumb really... Anyhow I finally gave it a shot on this Callidus Assassin.
14/05/07 - I created a new forum for the site (the other one was shut down because I was sick of all the spam (90% of posts in the end)). This one is a YaBB (yet another bulletin board) which seems to have better security from such things than the phpBB ones so hopefully it'll last a bit longer this time.
27/04/07 - Just another little update whilst I'm on a roll...
I've updated the 'Before and After' section with some WIP shots of a new miniature. Hopefully I'll find the time over the next few weeks to make further updates and maybe even finish it...
Merry (Fellowship)Pippin (Fellowship)26/04/07 - Whilst I've been a little slack with the updates lately I have still been painting so I have a bit of stuff accumulated to update the site with. I painted Merry and Pippin around 6 months ago and thought it was about time I posted some pics of them...
26/04/07 - I painted this guy well over a year ago but lost (I thought) all of the pictures of it when an external HD went kaputt... I was freeing up some space on another HD this week when I found one picture of it. Whilst the cleanliness of the paint-job is a little unrealistic I've always been keen on the miniature so here it is... :o)
Mounted Bard of Alahan11/11/06 - This is the second Mounted Bard of Alahan I've painted now. I like both versions but it was nice to see that I've improved in the year that's past since I painted the first.
24/10/06 - Something new for me this time around - A Grey Knight Terminator squad... It's the first time I've painted a squad and the first time in years I've used metallics.
Sicarius21/09/06 - I liked this miniature the moment I saw it. It's basically still a pretty typical space marine but I like the pose and the angle of the head, it's like he's taking a moment to contemplate things... Well that's my take on it anyhow...
CyriacusLysander21/09/06 - I have finally uploaded pictures of two miniatures which I finished earlier this year. The first is Lysander, converted slightly to be a Deathwing terminator. The second is Brother Captain Stern (the fourth now) also with some minor changes.
MOC12/07/06 - This time around I've painted another of my favourite Rackham sculpts - the "Master of Carnage". It has this look of barely contained fury which I think is perfect for the Devourers of Vile Tis...

empchamp06/06/06 - To celebrate the longest ever gap in between updates I've uploaded pictures of an Emperor's Champion which I painted earlier this year... And before any helpful soul points out that it's remarkably similar to Jason Richard's version I'll come clean and admit that it's a shameless rip off of the aforementioned piece...

19/11/05 - This is the second Privateer Press miniature I've now painted but the first to be posted on the site. It is Ashlynn d`Elyse - a Mercenary Warcaster from the Warmachine game.
02/11/05 - I painted this mounted woodelf lord for the "Works of Heart" project. In a couple of weeks the miniature will be listed on eBay and 100% of the final price will go to help victims of Hurricane Katrina.

on the bench...
