voracious warrior

This is one of the two miniatures from the Voracious 01 pack, it's surprising that they aren't sold as stand-alone miniatures as they're much nicer than the quality you'd usually get in multi-packs...

I've worked on my NMM techniques with this miniature again... The chrome technique can look good when used properly but it's a little too clean for my tastes therefore I've been trying to paint dirtier metals... This is my 3rd shot at oxidised copper and although there's not much of it I think it's the best yet (If I get the time I'll write a tutorial on it soon)... For the blades I wanted a dark metal which looked well used so I painted them dark grey and blended in a red-brown at the base of the blade representing blood which had soaked into the metal...
